An Asian bioharma company used to source multiple APIs of anti-cancer drugs (Paclitaxel, Docetaxel, Doxorubicin, Oxaliplatin etc.) from the multinational manufacturers. During -2019-2020, they found with the current purchasing costs of these APIs, they won’t be able to win local tenders. At this point, Bio-Lead took over this project and although it was challenging to meet the regulatory requirement as well as the cost target, we managed to reduce their cost by 42% on average.
